Welcome to Wallaby Bay. The year is 1845 and there is a gentle summer breeze. The tranquil township is nestled snuggly between the rolling Wombat Hill and the foreshores of Platypus Beach. So, sit back and enjoy life in colonial Australia.

This is also the setting for one of my novels, currently WIP.

Was it really that green? Shouldn't it have been more burned, dry, semi-arid scrubland?

I think the "Bay" part of that name would require it to be near water...
