I swear, 3D almost but not quite gets you to realism, AI enhancement gets you the rest of the way there. And as I was saying on another thread, better than AI alone can do it, at least at the present time.

Nice work. What app are you using to enhance artur? Looking at both, the face is definitely more realistic, but to me the body is looking more smooth and less detailed than the original.Still an improvement, just not as detailed.

I only work with the free Krea.AI enhancer. I usually use the default settings. Incidentally, I don't know of any other program that allows you to edit a 3D image so easily.
If the hands look distorted or similar, I replace them with hands from the 3D image. In this example, you could take the body from the 3D image and the head from the enhanced image. The different skin colors can be easily adjusted using a masking technique in the photo editing program. I use PhotoScape X Pro for this, which is very easy to use.

As far as I know, Krea only enhnces a full image, correct? Do you create multiple images and use the best parts from each?
With Fooocus you can enhance any part you want and it's really not hard. I use it to enhance (inpaint) Flux images, images off the web, screenshots, even real photos,

When I said I only use Krea.AI, I meant only for converting 3D images into AI images.
Here, I sometimes swap body parts, such as hands, in the AI image using PhotoScape for parts from the 3D image. This is easier than trying to do it with Fooocus. For example, I once swapped only the mouth area in an image because I liked the result better in 3D. I didn't like the results from Fooocus either.
If I want to add new faces, objects, or even people, for example, I use Fooocus. You're right that it's best suited for this type of thing. That's how I work my way through different AI applications.
If I want to create pure AI images, I use webui_forge with various Flux checkpoints and, if necessary, with different Loras. I then improve these results with Fooocus.

Here is an example of a mouth swap.
Image ‘Change Mouth 01’ is after AI enhancement. Image ‘Change Mouth 02’ is after swapping AI Mouth for 3D Mouth. Since the eye is always deceived by the brain, the slightly darker teeth are not noticeable in the complete overall picture.
