I think I can wait on being the first on my block to have one. It has a max airtime of 10 minutes, runs on diesel (that's why there is all that haze at the end of that clip), and has a top speed of 63 mph (at which it is probably pretty scary). Anyway, doing the math, 60 mph x 10 minutes = 10 miles. So you'd have to live within 10 miles of work and refuel there to get home. Essentially it is $880,000 for a very expensive toy.
What's your point?
I think if I had $880,000 to blow I'd probably rather take a trip on Blue Origin... Not that there is a chance in hell I would do that either. It would also be relatively cheaper, for $880,000 you could do it three times if estimations of commercial pricing are correct. And at the end of that trip I could thumb my nose at the Flat Earth conspiracy people. Or join them depending on what I sawWhat's your point?
