Working on a new Elvira render

I'm trying to put together a new Elvira 3D render of everyone's favorite Mistress of the Macabre. What I'm trying to achieve sounds simpler than it is: Elvira facing a village mob holding torches and pitchforks while she's tied to a public stake to be burned as a witch.

Mob scenes are always a PITA. What's the camera angle going to be, behind the villagers, behind Elvira, or something else?

Not only that. Posing all those characters is bad enough, but you have to do it while your PC slows down more and more and then you have to ignore the death rattles of your computer.....
