• Registration is now open. It usually takes me a couple of hours or less to validate accouts. If you are coming over from VoD or DR and use the same user name I'll give you Adult access automatically. Anybody else I will contact by DM about Adult access. NOTE I do have spam account creation testing on, but some spam accounts do get through and I check all manually before giving them access. If you create an account where the user name is a series of random letters, the email address is another series of random letters and numbers and is gmail, and the IP you are creating the account from is a VPN address noted for spam, it is going to be rejected without apology.

I have downloaded it, it is everything Affinity2 was + more, it is free, you have to sign up for an account, and you have to be online to license it. After that, you never have to be online again.

They do have paid AI, there is a 30 day free trial. The plan is $120 a year and adds a bunch of stuff. I'm trying it out, I'll comment later when I've used it.

And I want to reiterate, Affinity is free, it is fully functional, and has everything the previous versions did. All in one program, which is pretty cool.

So. Canva bought Affinity. That's just... lovely. /sarcasm

My takeaway: Canva AI is even more restrictive than Krea and Google, and the level of quality is about two years behind both.

Imma keep my current paid version of Affinity Photo thankyouverymuch.
