How I love a good sunset

Wow! That is really something, Crafty Lion. Your work-place must be incredibly well positioned and facing due west as well just at the right angle.

I've tried to get a few over here in the UK, strangely enough polluted air (dust particles) can, sometimes, produce the most amazing of affects...

My workplace was a 9-storey building (the tallest suburban building in my city) and it was taken from the 8th floor. So, yeah, pretty well-positioned!

When i used to work, till i retired last week, i walked to week very early just as the Sun was coming up, and the thing that used to amaze me, apart from being alive for another day, was the speed the Sun would move, as i walked it would just come into view, maybe a few hundred yards later i would look again, and as it got brighter, and trying not to blind myself it had risen in the sign quite a bit by then, then i say to myself, but we are moving at 24 thousand miles an hour!
But as much like sunrises and Sun sets, its also the wonderful coloured cloud formations blow my mind as the Sun sets, well strange cloud formations in general, yes i often stop and look at the clouds, and then i look at people walking down the street all on their phones, so sad?

I know. People just don’t take the time to admire the wonders of nature around them anymore.

I must admit, I envy you and your sunrise sightings. I’ve never had the chance to capture them with my camera!

People are just too busy these days to stop and stand around and admire nature, or set up their camera to capture it. I stil do, even though I really struggle to see it these days. Often one of myc arers will tip me off!

Re sunrise, well it's one of Nature's greatest ever shows, but the audience just go on sleeping through it.
Sunsets are a lot more popular simply because people are around to see it and photograph it, often people will hang around outside with a drink and friends to get a good shot.
