• Registration is now open. It usually takes me a couple of hours or less to validate accouts. If you are coming over from VoD or DR and use the same user name I'll give you Adult access automatically. Anybody else I will contact by DM about Adult access.

Renderuntube on-line and invite system initiated

Crafty, if you are logged into Renderuntube on another tab, it appears those play without issue. It might just be a matter of making sure people know. Does it do that on Safari also?

It is still possible, but you have to be logged on to the site for it to work. And we are using a custom made plugin for it.

So for like guests to view a preview of your content here or other sites, it won't work. :(
 
It appears as long as you are logged into Renderuntube on another tab embedding works. It might just be a matter of letting everybody know. And of course they need to be a member of Renderuntube, but I can make that pretty automatic, we can manually create accounts there, right Drac?
 
Annnnd I just found out I can't post GIFs on DD lol oh well, no one bothered to look on that site anyway. I'll keep posting on FF and maybe I'll drag a few more folks over here ;)
 
Once I log in, I stay logged in. I can see all videos except Renderuntube ones. Incidentally, I know it's not just the iMac operating system because I can't see it on my iPad either.

But directly on Renderuntube they are viewable?
 
Just wanted to state, the issue here is that anybody could view videos on Renderuntube, not just logged in members. As long as it stayed PG-13 that wasn't an issue, but it was purposed to handle adult content, and that can't just be hidden behind an RU18? screen, you actually have to check if the person viewing is over 18 or not. Unlike here, there is no way there to only lock down part of the content, so we had to go all or nothing. One person adding adult content which we took down since they didn't create it themselves underscored the problem, we were going to have to deal with it at some point.

Yes, well put. The invite system is completed 100%, and I customized it quite a bit.

One thing though, Renderuntube is off-line right now because I'm having e-mail issues with it (e-mails sent from the site keep going to spam or are getting deferred). I'm trying out a new service that is supposed to have much better deliverability and reputation.

Everything is set up, and seems to work, except I need to wait until my account is validated. I'm hoping this will take place sometime later today, or at the latest, tomorrow.

I'll let everyone know when it's back on-line with working e-mail.
 
Okay, it's back up! I meant to do it last night, but I fell asleep. lol

It's now invite only. To get an invite, contact either me, or @Otto Von Herunterhängen

Note, a *working* e-mail is required. The site ONLY sends you an e-mail for the initial invitation, and if you request a password reset. I don't send newsletters, or anything else. No one likes spam.

The site has an internal notification system. So just login, and you will get an update if there are comments on your uploads, etc. There is also an IM chat system.
