I've been searching all over for something that used to exist but no longer does. Many years ago I had a Poser character with outfit of the I Dream of Jeannie character (Barbara Eden) but I've lost it. I don't remember who was the creator so I can't even try using The Wayback Machine to see if an archive of it might be available. I also ran into lots of requests of other people seeking to find something to recreate the character and no one really seems to have one. I did find a few things that I didn't think fit close enough such as a set called "As You Wish". So I started to try and piece together something on my own using pieces of various items to try and bring the character and iconic costume to existence. Although it's not a perfect replica this is about as close as I could get with what I have in my arsenal:

I'm working on the fez hat and editing the hair and scarf a bit. I have a fez hat but trying to texture it has proven to be rather difficult because of it's uvmapping. I think I'm on the right track with it, though. The hair I'm using is an old Mylocha hair for Poser that's supposed to be a Star Trek character's hair called Rand. It has a transparency map I am going to try and edit to maybe hide everything but the bangs then maybe add in a ponytail and try and coil a braid around. I'm also going to try and add some trim to the vest.
 
I've done some more work on the Jeannie character. I'm not too happy with how the hair is looking but I did manage to find a better pair of "harem pants". The fez hat wasn't too texture-friendly but I found a replacement freebie that is (a kufi hat) and have created a texture that looks enough like the original to suit me. I still have some work to do on the hair and the scarf as well as the vest.
