I'm wondering if it's possible to post the same thread on 2 forums or sections, namely general audience and adult section, especially at the beginning of the story where the content can be posted in the general audience section. Then eventually when the story starts to have adult content, somehow notifying the viewers the contenuation of the story is posted in the adult section?
 
Yes, you can post the general audience pictures in the general audience section and put a link to where you posted the adult ones on the adult side. A member will only be able to follow that link if they have adult access, it will throw an error otherwise. Try to follow this link for example on a browser where you aren't logged in then one where you are.
 
Thank you for the promp response. I followed the above "this link" but didn't know what to do. Is there a way to move the entire thread in the adult section to the general audience section including comments? I think I can keep this thread in the general audience section for another few posts.

It all depends on what you want to do. If you want the existing thread moved to the adult side, I have to do that for you, just let me know. If you want to keep it in general, and put adult pictures on the adult side with a link to it from the general, my previous post shows how to do that. In either case to get to the adult pictures the member will have to be age screened for viewing adult before the link will work, somebody who doesn't have it will get a "permission denied" type message following the link.
 
Then I must ask you for favor. Please move my entire thread, Sisters, in the adult 3D section to the general 3D section. With another few posts, I'll continue the thread in the adult section, which I believe I can do.

I made a mistake! I'm so sorry. I think Sisters #6 to #17 must be moved to Adult section. As I kept posting, I completely forgot after #6 including #6 must be transferred to the Adult section unless you think it's okay to leave them in the General section. In some interepretations, those can go either way, I think.
It'll definitely be classified as adult material after #17. I'll wait to hear from you before further posting. The title of the thread in the adult section will be the same, BTW.
 
Let me see what it takes to move posts out of a thread. I'll separate them out one way or another. Since they are actively discussing rape, yeah, that probably ought to go in the back room. The pictures themselves wouldn't trigger it, the text plus the pictures probably does. PG-13 is kind of squishy, since I have guest viewing that doesn't screen for age in that front section, yeah, they probably ought to move. Give me 12 hours, I'm doing other things at the moment.

Select the posts that need to be moved from the general thread and merge them with the adult thread, keeping in mind XF will arrange the moved posts in order of their original time and date stamp.

I tried but it didn't really work. I'm not sure if I understood what you meant by selecting posts. I added the bookmark but it didn't look like that's what you meant. I could delete the posts and re-post them but that will lose the reactions and comments. And what is XF? I did create a new thread titled "Sisters" in the adult 3D section. Maybe your post was meant to @Otto Von Herunterhängen .

The ability to move or merge posts or threads is an admin/mod function. I was telling Otto how to move your posts.
