• Registration is now open. It usually takes me a couple of hours or less to validate accouts. If you are coming over from VoD or DR and use the same user name I'll give you Adult access automatically. Anybody else I will contact by DM about Adult access. NOTE I do have spam account creation testing on, but some spam accounts do get through and I check all manually before giving them access. If you create an account where the user name is a series of random letters, the email address is another series of random letters and numbers and is gmail, and the IP you are creating the account from is a VPN address noted for spam, it is going to be rejected without apology.

Tailswin asked for this a while back, and at my usual snails pace...
I'm going to create other subforums under water cooler with the idea of moving all threads there into categories, I see a couple more that could be useful, and have a "general" section under water cooler for the remainder, and probably turn Water Cooler itself into a category rather than a forum.

Don't hold your breath on when the rest of his is going to happen

Hey Dawg, maybe have a Not AI checkbox on all new posts?
Because it's increasingly important to distinguish art still made in meatspace from art vomited from Chat GP(erver)T and other digital devils wot are replacing us all. Soon, the entire Internet is AI slop browsed only by AI "agents" (demons). (Dead Inernet Theory is truer every year). Then real humans wil be executed to save on Universal Basic Income... 🫣😦

On the art categories there are separate forums for 3D Art, AI art, and Traditional art, and I haven't seen much in the way of people putting things where they don't belong, so we do have that. If AI is used to enhance a 3D base picture it goes in the AI forums.

So essentially we already have that. If you see any AI that has slipped into other forums let me know. That's an anybody "you", I check but I don't always see everything and it is important to keep it separated.

On the issue of AI agents, scam artists have been fucking up my email for decades now using just normal bots, AI "agents" are just scaled up bots with better grammar. Bots have also been the bane of streaming services an pretty much any contest site where money is involved, and video games for loot, etc,

So yeah, things are getting worse on that front, but it isn't like they were ever good. We had IBM PC XT's getting infected from boot sector floppy disks back in the stone age before the Internet.
