So I think these lyrics are really cool, but I'm also disappointed. I misheard "so I grabbed a bunch of rose" for "so I dropped a bunch of fools" and the original just doesn't have the same energy. I'll be pretending my version is canon.

There's a lot of great music that came out of that era, it's a shame the recording quality is usually so poor. This was one of the better ones in that regard. Can you imagine what it would cost to put a group like that together these days?
